the ultimate fight

A while ago I was in an underground parking of Montreal. I did what I had to do and when I went to pay the ticket. There it was, written in big letters. I had 18 minutes to get out , the fxxx out of the parking.

It made me feel a weird not only, I went for I don't how long to find a parking spot, that did not bother me though. But now they are showing me the doors and kicking me out fiercely. I thought to myself another one, another illustration of how I am always running. Going fast from "a", fast to get out, fast to get to "B" and play on repeat with different letters, different place but still running in circles.

It inspired me to write this essay

In a world where everything goes fast and ask you to go faster.

I choose ...... SLOW

In a world where we are asked to make decisions in a heart beat

I choose ...... SLOW

In a world where we rush from one place to another, with not even time to raise our heads and watch the sky

I choose ....... SLOW

The greatness of all, is not in the fast, not in the heavy.

But rather, in the slow, in the steady.

I'm not a fighter

neither a contender nor challenger

and my choice of words may be questionable sometimes

But for this, Ohhhhhhh for this.

I WILL FIGHT.

I will fight with all my strength, tooth and nail.

and will keep fighting until my last breath.

So the rhythm of my life could be, at the very least, slower, than the one this world proposes it should be.
Do not to go gentle into that fight.
It's a dirty one, prepare yourself.
Hold your ground.
And fight.
