I was walking down a trail during one of my Coaticook pilgrimages when I saw this sign (image at the end). It made me smile. I thought to myself, "That's life, right there." To always be on the lookout...
Shit can really come from all directions.some you will be able to avoidand some will blow right at your face
If all this is true I must not forget that its complete opposite is also valid.
Good things will also come from all possible directions.some I will missand some I will be fortunate enough to catch.
It depends on where your are at any given point in time and how "ready" you are.
For everything else, we have very little or no control at all.
I think, how we'll react to what's coming towards us is what defines us, as a person.
What kind of people we want to be ?
What character traits we want to display ?
How our emotions will come into play ?
Finally how honest will we be in our words and in our actions ?
In all I do,
In all I say,
I always try to go with my conscience or, as I call it, my third eye.
It's the only way I know that will let me breath and get some sleep.
The only way I can look at my reflection.
I have to learn to deal with what comes in my way, days in and days out.
So it doesn't cloud everything in my life.
So it doesn't take up all the place in my heart.
